The List Of Essential Tools You Need As An Affiliate Marketer - updated October 2022
To become a successful affiliate marketer, you need to make promotions of products and/or services online.
That means that you will need some tools to make those promotions. You can't become a super affiliate by only promoting your products on your Facebook page. You will need more than that.
Of course, some are Free... some are paid tools. Here's a list that I made for you.
Essential tools for affiliate marketers:
Keyword research platform
Social Media Accounts
An email autoresponder is crucial. It will help you to follow up with your potential customer. That email list you will be yours forever and will contain sleeping money. Do not make the mistake of not having an email autoresponder. It's FREE until you reach 500 subscribers.
The tool I use is Aweber
Another Very good one is Systeme
The famous funnel builder. The funnel builder will help you manage your sales funnel. A funnel is simply a series of one or two pages that will introduce your affiliate product, grab the email address of your potential customers, and link the prospect to the sales page of your affiliate product or services. See this page as an example
The tools I recommend are:
Systeme (they offer a FREE plan)
If you are new to affiliate marketing, it would be wise to get some affiliate marketing training to learn the basics of affiliate marketing. Unfortunately, there are many gurus out there that will try to attract you in their net and will lead you to do many mistakes. The result will be a lot of waste of time and effort and maybe money too.
I trust only 2 places for training.

Keywords Research Platform
When you create content, you want it to be found by search engines to generate traffic, leads, and sales. The traffic will become the key to your success, will help you grow your email list, and make your affiliate products or services visible on the web. To be seen by search engines, you must use keywords. Keywords are what people are searching on Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. If your content does not contain some of the keywords, then search engines will not show your content on the search result pages... meaning very low traffic for you.
I use Jaaxy (They offer 30 keywords search for FREE when you register)
Your content and the keyword you will use are important. But even more important, is how you will write your content. That's Copywriting. You will need to understand the basics of copywriting. How to attract people to look at your content. How to keep people on your content longer and not simply land on your web page and leave. Good copywriting will address that and make sure your potential customers want to know more about your products or services.
I bought the Copywriter Playbook for less than $2.
I also bought for less than $5 Matt Bacak's Secrets Email System which contains 1000 email title suggestions and many videos about email marketing
Traffic is the key. Traffic is the key to your success. You can try on your own to generate traffic. You can pay... hmmm... waste a lot of money on paid ads on Google, Facebook, Solo Ads, etc. But you can also read a very well-done book that will teach you the Do's and Don't to build good traffic to your content. The quantity of traffic is not the most important, the quality of that traffic is more important. Even if you have 10,000 visitors to your content, if they are not qualified visitors, they will not buy. it's as simple as that.

Your domain name is your brand name. The more your domain name is related to your affiliate products or services, the more you will gain credibility. Some websites will offer you free website hosting but your domain name will look like myname.webhosting.com. You don't want that. You want myname.com.
I bought my domain name at Namecheap for less than $11 for one year.
If you really can't buy your own domain name for now, then I would suggest getting a free one at SiteRubix
Social Media Accounts
To publish your content and make it visible to your ideal audience, you need to promote it. Use your social media accounts to promote your content. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, Pinterest, and your own blog site can be used to promote your content. On top of that, promote your offer to your mailing list too... You can't imagine how much money is sleeping on your mailing list. You would be surprised.
You can learn how to use TikTok to promote your affiliate products... Check the 15-Second Free Lead course... it's very cheap to buy... less than $2.
If you get these tools, you will have everything you need to do affiliate marketing. The rest belongs to you. Just remember that it takes time and effort to become a successful affiliate marketer. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme.
